This dwarf variety is one of the very best for bonsai work. Extremely dwarf tree only reaching 1-2 ft tall over many years. For bonsai work, this variety is really fun. Lots of branches to work with and a naturally dwarf growth habit. The leaves in spring are quite spectacular, emerging green with red edges, eventually turning medium green for summer.
