One of the darkest foliage of all of the bugbane cultivars, 'Hillside Black Beauty' has new spring growth that quickly turns to a dark inky purple black and holds the colour all season long. In late summer tall flower spikes rocket above the foliage with pink tinged white fragrant flowers. The best flowering and deepest foliage colour develop in full sun.
