Velvety, deep violet, medium-to-large flowers with purple red bars make a stately impact in the landscape-and hummingbirds love them. Julka is perfect for growing over smaller supports like arbors, or for ambling through the garden. It's a medium-sized vine excellent for training up perennial shrubs like roses. Julka offers a long season of interest, flowering initially in May and June and then again in September. Requires only deadheading after flowering in June, and general light tidying or simply the removal of dead stems in February, no more than 4' from the base. Grows to 6'.
