Leathery leaves radiate from the center of this plant and create a cloud of dense foliage. Aralias prefer bright indirect light, but not direct sunlight, preferably 6 hours of light a day. Drench the soil completely when watering and allow the soil to partially dry out between watering periods. Use a well-balanced liquid plant food every other week in the spring and summer diluted to 1/2 the recommended strength.
