Linearilobum Japanese Maple has attractive light green foliage throughout the season. The small deeply cut ferny palmate leaves are highly ornamental and turn an outstanding yellow in the fall. It features subtle red flowers rising above the foliage in mid spring before the leaves. It produces red samaras from early to mid fall. The rough gray bark and pink branches add an interesting dimension to the landscape. This maple will grow to be about 20 feet tall at maturity, with a spread of 20 feet. It has a low canopy with a typical clearance of 5 feet from the ground.
