Medium sized broadleaf evergreen with copper-red new foliage that turns blue-green during the growing season. This shrub is a member of the witch hazel family, and has small red flowers that bloom in winter. Use these shrubs as mass plantings or as a hedge. The bushes require very little care, and also provide year round interest. A combination that is very difficult to find. This will really make your landscape stand out in the neighborhood! Plant 2' apart, center on center when establishing a hedge. Plant 6 to 8' apart when used as a foundation planting.
