Compact in habit and exceptional in hardiness, this hybrid selection bears large clusters of showy purple blooms in mid-spring. The wide-flaring, wavy-edged, funnel-shaped blossoms have a red-purple center and black-blotched upper lobe. Rounded form is densely furnished with deep green foliage. Grows 4' x 4'.
